Silence overwhelms
A deafening still
A non-existant sound
That hurts as it screams
Tears you up
Inside where all of you can hear
And you pretend it's not real
Silence overwhelms
A deafening still
Shouts through anger
And calls your name
Grabs your heart
And laughs as it pulls a tear.

Very expressive with great metaphor and analogy.
ReplyDeleteA loving loss is a grave mistake, as we should all live forever: but some people do in text, or might, such as Shakespear's 'Juliet'!
I hope you are fine and well, and coping as best as you possibly can!
Writing is a good channel to express grief, and also to occupy your thoughts!
Take wonderful and gentle care. Love love, Andrew. Thank you. Bye.
